Il Viaggiatore - Lake & Mountain Tours is an Incoming Travel Agency offering a different Lake Maggiore, one that has not been completely discovered yet and therefore genuine. Especially in the Upper part of the Lake (e.g. Cannero Riviera and Cannobio) one can still find the typical local architecture and run into old medieval villages with touches of Belle Époque.

Certified and Experienced Mountain Guides

It is here that the lake and the mountain, Italy and Switzerland meet in a unique territory which you can discover by joining our hiking tours and activities! Our agency offers a full immersion into nature and history. An excursion by bike, or on foot, is a luxury which, nowadays, not everybody is able to afford for oneself. It demands an aware behaviour towards the places we go through and the people we meet along the way. All senses are active because the eyes can explore the beauty of the landscape; the ears listen to the wind, the animals, our steps in the silence; the feet sense the asperity of the ground; and then, smells and flavours “picked” on the way, which will become the main ingredient to our memories.

I was gifted a cooking class for my birthday and my oh my was it an experience.. The location was top notch, the staff was so warm and welcoming, we felt like VIPs throughout the whole day. Since we were the first clients at this specific location, Simona was with us all the time and she also was so kind and lovely, it felt like we'd known her for a long time already. The food we made was delicious and we got all the recipes and even some more. If you want a unique experience for yourself or a loved one, we couldn't recommend Il Viaggiatore more.

Verified Bella e rilassante passeggiata Bellissima camminata da Cannobio a Cannero (con andata e ritorno in battello da Luino) che consente di godere di bellissimi punti panoramici lungo il percorso. Molto bella anche la piccola e antica chiesa di San Gottardo di cui si può vedere l'interno (illuminandolo) anche quando è chiusa. Ci sono un po' di saliscendi ma è una passeggiata piacevole e nient'affatto difficile.

Verified Cannobio einer der schönsten Orte am Gardasee Wir kommen sehr gerne nach Cannobio, für uns der schönste Ort am Lago Maggioreauf der italienischen Seite. Cannobio hat einen sehr schönen, alten Ortskern mit engen Gassen zum Bummeln und einkaufen. Eine wunderschöne Seepromenade mit vielen Caffes, Trattorien, Restaurants, Eisdielen und, und, und. Sonntags einen großen Marktund meistens gutes Wetter. Wir kommen immer wieder!
