Il Viaggiatore offers a new Lake Maggiore, one that has not been completely discovered yet and therefore genuine.
It is here that the lake and the mountains, Italy and Switzerland meet in a unique territory which you can discover by taking part in our guided excursions and activities.
CANNOBIO
Cannobio is a very ancient hamlet with a rich historical and architectural patrimony surrounded by a beautiful lake and mountain scenery. Only 1,5 hrs away from Milan Malpensa International Airport, Cannobio is a small place on the lakeside ready to offer an active and “green” kind of tourism because of its proximity to the Alto Verbano Valleys. Our town allows one to keep oneself busy all week long in a very natural environment.
About 100 Km to the South we find Milano which has become a big European city and the second biggest of Italy; it is the most famous city for art, design, style, street food, and much more. Approximately 10 Km. north of Cannobio we then find the Swiss Border therefore it is extremely easy to also visit places like Locarno and its Città Vecchia or Ascona with its nice promenade.
